SORA Health Intelligence Room Selected as a Featured Innovator at 11th United Nations STI Forum
AI-driven climate and infectious disease risk assessment platform recognized among more than 900 global submissions

This selection recognizes outstanding contributions to sustainable development and technological advancement, chosen from more than 900 submissions from around the world (Link). 

As part of this recognition, Vice CEO Masaki Umeda was invited to present SORA Health Intelligence Room at Session 3, titled “Shaping the Future of Science, Technology and Innovation for Sustainable Development in Times of Uncertainty and Change,” which took place at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on May 7. 

The session brought together global leaders and innovators to discuss how science, technology, and innovation can accelerate progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) amid growing global challenges (Details are available here).

SORA Health Intelligence Room

It is an AI-driven flood and infectious disease risk assessment platform, which can visualize the risk of floods and infectious disease outbreaks, enabling local governments and healthcare providers to plan preventive measures and allocate medical supplies more swiftly and effectively (Read more here).

ECOSOC Joint Special Meeting

In addition to the STI Forum, Vice CEO Masaki Umeda was also invited to the ECOSOC Joint Special Meeting, titled “From Digital Inclusion to Innovation – Advancing Science, Technology and Youth Entrepreneurship for Development,” which took place at ECOSOC Chamber in United Nations Headquarters on May 5. He attended it as one of the youth speakers and shared his experiences as a global entrepreneur (Link).
