Vanessa Racloz – Background
Vanessa Racloz is an international global health expert with over 20 years of experience based in Geneva, Switzerland. She holds a PhD in infectious disease epidemiology and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

At the World Health Organization (WHO), she served as a Roll Back Malaria Project Officer, where she led the development of the second generation Global Malaria Action Plan in alignment with the WHO’s Global Technical Strategy.
At Novartis, she served as Associate Director for Malaria Initiative Public Affairs, representing the company on the Swiss Malaria Group as a board member and strengthening stakeholder engagement for malaria-related activities.
At DNDi (Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative), she worked as External Relations Manager for over four years, managing stakeholders and grants for neglected tropical disease drug development, and overseeing performance monitoring and donor accountability across multi-funder portfolios.

Most recently, at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Health & Healthcare, she served as Lead of the Climate and Health Initiative, collaborating with public and private partnerships to implement prevention and mitigation measures addressing the intersection of climate change and health.
Leveraging her deep expertise and extensive network with Geneva-based global health institutions—including the Global Fund, UNITAID, and WHO—Vanessa joins SORA Technology as Geneva Representative. In this role, she will lead strategic engagement with key international health stakeholders, connecting SORA’s drone and AI-powered malaria solutions to global platforms and funding mechanisms.

With Vanessa’s appointment, SORA Technology significantly strengthens its voice on the international stage, advancing our next-generation malaria control solutions powered by drones and AI.
